Welcome to Simeotherapy

You understand your patterns. So why do they keep repeating?

You know yourself better than ever before, perhaps you’ve spent years reflecting, analysing, growing and trying to understand and change yourself.

Yet, despite your insight, something still pulls you back into the same reactions, relationships and ways of being that you long to be free from.

Therapy offers a space to listen more deeply to the parts of you that carry these patterns, so that change becomes possible from the inside out.

I am a BACP registered Psychotherapist with almost 20 years experience supporting individuals through emotional and relational challenges.

Empowering Women Through Understanding

About Simeotherapy

I’m Tracey Simeonova, the founder of SimeoTherapy and I am very happy to welcome you here.

I’m a therapist with a deep belief that meaningful change is possible, not simply through understanding ourselves more, but through experiencing ourselves differently.

Many of the women I work with are thoughtful, intelligent, successful and deeply self aware. They’ve spent years trying to make sense of themselves and their experiences. They know the origins of their anxieties, relationship patterns or self doubt, yet still find themselves responding in the same ways they wish they could change.

For many years, I believed that if I could understand myself more-if I could make sense of the patterns that had developed through my early experiences-it would be enough to free me from them.  I know how disheartening and disappointing it can be to find yourself caught in patterns you understand, yet still feel unable to change.

Over time, I discovered that while insight is an important part of healing, it isn’t always enough to create lasting change.  The change I longed for became possible only when I shifted my relationship with myself and the parts of me that drove the patterns.  This understanding has deeply shaped the way I work as a therapist when helping women to move beyond insight towards lasting, compassionate and grounded change.

I have a great respect for the courage it takes to look inward and my purpose is to provide a space where that self awareness can become something more: a foundation for lasting emotional and behavioural change.

My way of working is warm, collaborative and deeply attentive. I believe that therapy should feel like a place where every part of you is welcome-where you don’t need to perform, have the right answers or carry everything alone.

Alongside my clinical experience and professional training I bring a genuine curiosity, compassion and respect for the unique story everyone carries.  I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy since every individual deserves an approach that honours and enhances their individual experiences, strengths and hopes for the future.

Outside my work I value simple things that help me feel grounded-time in nature, walks on the beach, growing and eating the vegetables I’m learning to grow, great food, time with loved ones and moments of quiet reflection. I believe that these moments of slowing down are just as important as any of the ‘work’ we do in therapy, reminding us to reconnect with ourselves in the midst of busy lives.
